Not everyone possesses the true ability to help others. Lately, I’ve come to a deeper understanding of the saying: “穷则独善其身，达则兼济天下.”

Today, I learned that my landlord’s mom underwent euthanasia. It left me reflecting on a conversation we had not long ago.

You will continue to suffer if you have an emotional reaction to everything that is said to you.

True power is sitting back and observing things with logic.

True power is restraint.

If words control you that means everyone else can control you.
