The entrance
Today was the first time I felt the chill of the air during my run. I would like to try a new route and quickly selected Kasteel Koude Keuken as my destination. It’s hard to believe I’ve been living in Brugge for nearly a year and a half now. Despite its small size, this charming city continues to surprise me with hidden gems I’ve yet to discover. Kasteel Koude Keuken, with its intriguing name (interesting name.... and its a real restaurant now), had been on my list for a while. Today felt like the perfect day to finally visit.
Running Record

As I approached the castle, I was greeted by an enchanting sight. Tall, majestic trees lined the entrance like silent sentinels, standing guard and welcoming me into their serene domain. The early morning light filtered through the branches, casting a soft glow over the path. The air was still, and the only sounds were the rhythmic crunch of my footsteps and the occasional chirp of birds.

It was a quiet morning, with only a few fellow runners sharing the space. The tranquility of the place was almost palpable—peaceful, beautiful, and impeccably clean. I couldn’t help but imagine spending an entire day here, soaking in the calm and letting the beauty of the surroundings wash over me.
